THE UNSUNG HEROES IN INDIAN ARMY: One General Sangat Singh!

Their disposition and gallantry of armed forces deserves much more mention and chapters in text books prepared by #CBSE. One finds less number of books in schools, colleges and universities about them. How can you infuse enthusiasm among young generation? There should be and independent Department of History and Research under #Indian Defense Ministry besides independent Archeology wing. The unsung heroes history need to be discovered, explored and excavated by the new generation.

The Geniuses in army are the best breeds among human beings .They are found in Indian Armed Forces in all its branches. Geniuses are there in Indian Administrative Services, but most of them have surrendered their genius to the feet of their bosses, the governments lead by elected representatives. I find only some geniuses among elected ones as MLA and MP. The poets, authors and artist are  also among the best geniuses in society .The scientists not all ,are the best of minds according to my estimation. Who can deny the genius of legal fraternity !But one has to choose one sheep among millions in market.

One General Sangat Singh from# Indian Paratroopers had a leading role in the 1971,1965,1962 Indo Pak 1960 ;Indo China,Goa Liberation war .He did facilitate the victory of Indian victory by his wit and bravery in 1971.The fraternity of top officers admit that he was denied top army award such Mahavir Ckakra etc. by his immediate officers including General Arora army commander East .The life history written by an army officer and stories told by top bosses in army confirm this .General Sangat is said to be one of the three world class army officers in the world. He was awarded only Padmvibhushan .His death anniversary passed on 23 of September2016.

 Additional Director General of Police ,#Indu Kumar Bhushan was attending a lecture on Administration  of the Governor in Police Academy Hyderabad on Monday .He was forcibly sent back to Jaipur. The Governor while explaining impediments in administration spoke of how a few RTI Activists had become mafia and were threatening the administration.

Bhushan: How can you describe RTI Activits as mafia? They are just information seekers.

Governor : They seek such sort of information.

Bhushan: They are not wrong. Don’t you have awareness on the act?

Governor: I  am speaking on the practical matter ,not on an artificial.

Bhushan: Why did you describe them as mafia?

Governor:  Because they seek any sort of information. I went for Balaji darshan several times. One activist sought this information.

Governor :  People are misusing the Act. As the Act is good, utilization also should be for good purpose.

The ego of our governors with a few exceptions is as big as British Empire in the past. Now our belief is strengthened that earlier to nip in the bud was used for nipping evils and devils but now it is used to eliminate the brilliance of budding ones. With the span of time, the governors and politicians have subjugated the upcoming officers. The result is elimination of right reasoning and actions. If I was in his place I could have patted him for prompt fearless arguments. I don’t find difference between democracy and autocracy. Governor must apologize to Bhushan. Let us who sent him to Jaipur. Did he misbehave ?

The inappropriate death under circumstances within the control of Army deployed at Uri Sector is shocking on the following accounts(1) the history of war skirmishes is that the wee hours between 0230  to dawn is the period when the tired beleaguered soldiers engage themselves in natural calls ,prayers, and predawn refreshment .This weakness /compulsion is known to the enemy .Our men on duty also knew it .(2)Posting of the soldiers at Line of Control demands vigilance ,round clock  patrolling ,watching the camps; one unoccupied and  the other manned (3)deputing sniffer dogs (4)patrol party of monkey battalion deputed in hand grenade lob. It may construe uncharitable remark but serious lapses are the result of their killing.

(5)The report of ten terrorist killed by our forces and nonstop news highlight raised great doubts the moment it was transmitted. Only the fools will tread in to death trap in view of the highest alert in the Indian army and the national and international condemnation of the casualties inflicted  by the enemy .The news papers have given wide coverage of this retaliation .There no authentic statement by the government and army. What preparedness is this? Can we win war on propaganda? Secret War Room meeting of the P.M. and his army chief would have safe .Cheap popularity by TV Channels will spoil the nation. Some of the TV Channels are war mongers. Do not run their business.

(6)War prisoners in 1971 in thousands were kept in camps. One of the centers was Allahabad .The Pak prisoners will get up early morning when our sentries patrolling are in deep slumber and cut  fences .One day scores of them succeeded not only running away but snatching their weapons ,stealing vehicles from public ,used the thick of the vegetation northern part of Allahabad ,crossed to Pakistan  through Nepal and some were caught also .
