APOLOGY BY POPE PAUL BENEDICT

Pope Paul Benedict’s apology on one of his renowned priests in the west about the latter’s charge that some verses were added in to the Holy Quran after Prophet Mohammad’s *(SAS)death .It is very heartening to hear that he accepts that the rest of the verses of the Holy Quran are revelation s from the Lord of the universe. He has read and understood them. If it is so there should be no doubt for him to accept Islam as the true Religion and prophet Mohammad (SAS) His messenger.


Let me quote the following verses from the Holy Quran relating to His creation of : Earth(VEGITATION AND SOURCES OF OUR SUSTENANCE),SKY&EARTH:THEIR SEVEN FIRMAMENTS,DECORATION OF THE LAST WITH SUN, MOON AND STARS ETC. This is for those (Geography and its branches)involved in researches.

Say: Is it that ye

Deny Him Who Created

The Earth in two Days?

And do ye join equals

With Him? He is

The Lord of (all)

The Worlds.(Verse :9 (Surat-ul- Fuslat)

He set on (the earth),

Mountains standing firm,

High above it,

And bestowed blessings on

The earth, and measured there in

Its sustenance, in four Days,

Alike for (all) who ask.Verse:10(Surat-ul- Fuslat)

The He turned to the sky,

And it had been (as) smoke:

He said to it

And to the earth:

“Come ye together ,

Willingly or unwillingly”

They said “We do come

(Together) in willing obedience.”verse:11(Surat-ul- Fuslat)

So He completed them

As seven firmaments

In two Days, and He assigned to each heaven

Its duty and command.

And We adorned

The lower heaven

With lights, and (provided it)

With guard. Such

Is the Decree of (Him)

The exhaltd in might,

Full of knowledge.Verse 12(Surat-ul- Fuslat)
