The storm over a cup of tea erupting in the state of Uttar Pradesh over  comments of two police officers concerning the reports of disappearance of pairs of lovers in hundreds  in the eastern and western  U.P. have proven to be very costly and services of the officers are threatened. Both of them were right in their observations but the observations have pierced in to the crocodile hearts of the media and their beloved supporters. One of the officers observed that if his sister had eloped in that fashion and runaway with her paramour, he would have considered gunning down her or shooting himself. The other officer said that there were highest number of girls absconding with their choicest paramours  reported in his district .Should he trace them or arrest the criminals /thieves who are really the law and order problem? Both of them were justified.

One group of journalist and social workers were advocates of the lust and in the language of Dr.Khushwant  Singh law of the  lu….d of the land .The officers were advocating the law of the land. Now you may decide who were right and wrong. We see that the Ganges is flowing up stream (reverse) Whether it be the gay cult, prostitutions, ill-gotten method of making money, open love affairs in the park, street and class rooms: all have become the likes of the people at cost of social disharmony and impending social disaster. Us ki beti bhagi hai .Meri beti nahin bhagi .

Who invented the law that a major can decide their course of actions in this regard? Age old practices are obsolete? Let there be a referendum on this freedom. One traces the history of this law being enacted, one comes to know it were enacted by foreigners and western educated  Indians with divisive and  ill intentions. Let this be struck down forth with to relieve the police administration from the shackles of this dichotomy and allowed to do what is actually wanting to be carried out .Many of them are doing their jobs against their centuries old social and community conscience. Many undesirable actions are being imposed on them against the soul of the Indian society , therefore they are not keen to fight against them .The result is the present chaotic state of police administrations.
