THE SUPPER FAST
TRAINS UNDER# PIYUSH GOEL ,THE FULL TIME #RAIL MINISTER OF INDIAN RAILWAYS AND CO DEFENSE MINISTER OF DEFENSE MINISTER OF
INDIAN GOVERNMENT ,
It was on
second October 2018 ,I boarded Kachheguda Hyderabad Railway station #South Central
Railway by the above train in 2 AC lower berth bearing PNR :4249985094.The
train left for Lucknow and reached
Allahabad Junction at 1245 hours .It was
running in time but was detained at Pratapgarh outer signal for hours. This train there after started walking bit by bit and was
stationed at a railway station perhaps Uttraula beyond cantonment Lucknow .
It was without
Pantry car as it runs twice in a week, Tues day and Thursday .Its scheduled
time to reach Lucknow was 1840 hours but reached Lucknow at about 2430 hours .This
compelled me to IRCTC accommodation Room No 2 Deluxe .
I am approaching
about eighty years of my age and there was none to accompany me .I had only one
water bottle sufficient to reach Lucknow at 1840 .Eight hours delay and
unwanted halt at the above mentioned station
has almost brought me to the threshold of
death like thirst .
I had a plan to
rush to Ford Hospital Gautum Nagar Lucknow at once to see my very old college
and Allahabad University Friend Syed Masood Afzal who was bedridden due to his lungs cancer and
wanted to see me. This was the period when one Tewari ,an officer from
Apple Company was shot dead. The aftermath of chaos over his killing and
protest did not encourage me to undertake night trip to the hospital at 0100 night .
When I reached
after day break at 08 00 hours, he had left for heavenly abode ten minutes
before my arrival in the said
hospital .
I am
requesting the Zonal General Manager Northern Railway Lucknow to provide me
information under Right to Information Act 2005 the following :
(1)What
made you to halt this train not run by
your zone but SCR Railway for the unusual delay ? Who were the officials/officers
at Control Room at Lucknow who allowed other trains to run to Lucknow but not
this train 22683.
(2)Which
were trains coming from Calcutta via Pratapgarh,Amethi,Raebarelly and trains coming via,Allahabad ,Pratapgarh,Amethi,Raebarelly
for lucknow and onward (Mail,Express,Superfast ,Rajdhani etc.including goods
trains )allowed to Lucknow Charbagh or onward between 1600 to 2400 hours on
03/102018 .
(3) What
is your policy to manage all such trains ? Who is responsible for the delay of the train on track ahead of all trains.
(4)The copy
of the charter of the same during British regime and Independent India to
manage the trains by the control room .What is the educational qualifications
of those officers at the control room
during the period mentioned by me and what is their monthly emoluments? The
Postal order bearing no......is enclosed.
