The quality of administration including those of politicians, the bureaucrats) ,entry of ill deserving recruits and luxury oriented officers ,sub standard method and strategy of dealing with emergencies have gone astray.

The recent agitations in Delhi and else where, and the killing of Senior Congress leaders in the State of Chhattisgarh Baster Region at Jiram Ghat on 24 th May 2013 will either show the Naxalites their door or usher in their hegemony. The quality of administration including those of politicians, the bureaucrats) ,entry of ill deserving recruits and luxury oriented officers ,sub standard method and strategy of dealing with emergencies have  gone astray.  Only stereo type strategy that one sees during long marches, is demonstrated: putting iron barricades on roads, in front of lakhshaman Rekhas (the entrance of Ministers etc.) and the  police force holding firmly those barricades ,the  opposite side with all  their muscle might (muscle only) throughout the and night  the struggle and scuffle goes on. It is any body’s game. A huge crowd of policemen is seen standing in form ofa  sheep flock at  some points. All of them pushing the agitating  crowd that too with the support of  backs of their brothers. Where is the application of energy and use of it in a situation like this? Where is application of minds and leadership in such situations, so far as its countering the assault goes on? The poorest strategy one has ever seen. Who are in offensive or defensive columns and which are  the columns in waiting ? which are in line to offer extra succor (food , water and ammunition )to their comrades, one never sees. It is Baazar like chaotic situation .Such are the testimony of their collective minds.

The well planned strategy will itself arouse fear in the opponents. Even when engaged with terrorists the solders are huddling around their counter with parts. They are thus rendering hurdles rather than facilitating terrors in hearts of enemy. What has gone wrong with us? Why is there no inter police and army skill/strategy transfer of trainings and discourses?

Mr.Raman and his #BJP party had been busy in propagating one rupee wheat/rice offer to  the people of Chhattisgarh. In what way it has relieved him against the recent back drop of assassinations .He wanted to undertake his Vikash yatra to score over the Priwartan Yatra of #the Congress. Why should he bother to provide security for someone success.

His Home Ministry must have known situation(Naxalite infected areas) around the roads followed by the Congress. He must have known the anger against  Mahendra Kumar the founding father of Salwa Julom.

His police officers must have known the route hazards and discussed first among his officers and prepared the planning needed. I am an ordinary common man. If I was given this responsibility I could have done the following :

1.I could have asked all the police station officers falling along the route  to send their plan of actions in this case.

2. Appointed two officers one for the inward, other for the accountability of the return Journey.

3. Discussed all arrangements with answerable In charge officers thus appointed.

4. Finalize the plan of security all in black and white.

5.  The approval of DGP would have been sought.

7.The police department depends even for its serious communications on control rooms. The same old  fashion methods.

8. The Home Ministry could have been taken in to confidence. Nothing of this sort was done perhaps.

9. Where was the convoy of patrol party (pilot);What was the distance between the car wan and his fleet.

11. Why was not any advance patrolling carried out by the security men to watch the suspicious movements and lying of mines on the road?

12. Was any watch being done to see the movements of the attackers? Were not ample opportunity offered to the invaders to plan their strategy.?

13. Were your men not aware of the consequences of war fought between the two one at the peak of the hill and the other at the foot?

The role of Body Guards:

whether SgpG or any other type of security all these Gun dharees are seen opening the gates of their VVIP when on duty. The VVIP are happy and so are their sons and daughters. Are they security conscious? Was it not proper for them to arrange for Ambulances on payment along with sufficient first aid and host of doctors with them in such situations .Why not to move in twos and threes but the hypocrisy and flattery compTetion is spoiling many things.
