The news of committing suicide in India among farmers, students,
and other section of society due to debt, harassment, failure in exams and competitions,
insult to their esteem and , failure in life and in love affairs is common these days .
Although community wise official records are not available yet it is assumed
that most of these death are taking place among communities other than Muslims
.It mainly due to their belief in the injections of Islam. Governments make
efforts but have failed. Would it not be proper to educate the people on these
lines? I don’t know if other scriptures have similar tenets .If these have it,
must be brought forth with , in their day to day preaching .
(V.4:29) O who ever believe! Eat not up your property
amongst yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you , by mutual
consent .And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another).Surely Allah is Most
Merciful to you.
The prophet (PBIH) said ,”Whoever commits suicide with a piece
of iron ,will be punished with the same iron in the Hell Fire.” He (PBUH)said
further ,”‘He who commits suicide by throttling ,shall keep on throttling himself
in the Hell fire(for ever).”
The Prophet (BPUH) said further , “A man was inflicted with wounds and he
committed suicide and so Allah said, ‘My slave has caused death on himself
hurriedly so I forbid paradise for him.’
