#Bhpendra Yadav ,the BJP Member of Parliament from Rajashthan
during his address in Rajya shabha referred Nehru and his Allahabad university address
in 1947 where in he mentioned the goal of Allahabad University at the time of
its foundation. The university was established in 1886 at the hands of British
rulers. It is not correct .I am product of this university and have seen the
foundation stone which has inscribed in English a text from a verse of Holy Quoran (ABVP) may be up on its
feet and also a text in English version of a samskrit saying (slok )very
popular in dia. Nothing else. Let #Professor Murli Manohar Joshi clarify the
truth. Knowingly I have withheld those lines to hear from him. Yadav should
have made correct references.
Yes I agree the quotation referred by him is said by Nehru
about role and goal of universities ,centre of higher education in India. This
quote is on tip of educationist. One may see Dr.Kothari Commission. #DDNEWS,
