Is a nation known by its deeds or
by its tall flag? Are we really giving
it its due place? Small minds are ruling
the nation. It is evident from their day today decision making and silly
statements readily available on TV Channels and print media. One such instance
drew my attention of the decision by making and raising tallest, longest and
widest national flag as part of patriotism but a political tool to score upper
hand in vote banking movements. The lead was taken by #Smiriti Irani , the
Minister For# Human Resource Development in Union Government of India followed
by some state Chief Minister(KCR) Tilangana on its formation Day,2nd
of June 2016. The country`s 292 feet
tall post 72/108 foot largest flag was damaged
second times while being raised.
It developed hole and widened soon due to strong winds .In Delhi the flag was
changed 11 times in the last one month .and Rs 35000.00 spent per month to get
damaged flag repaired.
Can an army lead by a tallest
flag win a battle? Can we by raising tallest flags make tall claims of tall achievement? Does a
small size of a flag make it inferior in terms of its inherent values when
compared to big one?
