Participation in Iftar cum Vote politics is by product of ill
intended motives. For such chaos only the Muslim politicians are responsible. They
have demeaned themselves and Islam as well. The Ramadhan (Iftar) move of #RSS for
it`s all out Muslim friendly gesture on India level is baffling. Since when it
has opened it`s both arm stretched for them. It`s spokes person`s reference of Tulsi
Plant found mention in Holy Quran, first of all, is misplaced. The verse 12 of
surah Rahman states .”Also corn, with (its)
leaves and stalk for fodder and sweat smelling plants.13. Which of the blessings
of your Lord will ye deny?"
It refers to all
scented plants and flowers endowed with sweat scents on Earth. Islam does not
value such extraneous gestures by one person or group who does not actually respects
or accepts its enshrined its chief doctrine; worshiping only one God. It does
not either alter its stand by wearing scalp cap, scarf around the shoulders and
exchanging other formalities.
