The killing of 200 hundred NEELGAYE in the state of Bihar is
certainly alarming. #Menika Gandhi has termed it as a massacre in the history
of animal life by state sponsor killing. The #Environment Ministry(#JAVEDKAR )
and Bihar provincial government went ahead as per rule but not as norm ;
without applying minds. Both of them ignored the following:
A. Why an option of driving them to vast neighboring forest
tracts was not considered, therefore , penalty to all concerned must be
initiated.
B. Management of aftermath of culling was disaster: What was
the need to finish them in one go? What was the need to record the operation
and make it public?
C. Invitation of tenders: (1) For its skin/leather utility
(2) Utility of their meat (3) utility of their bones (4)utility of their
organs(5)Finally their disposal.
