Recently I visited Jamshedpur,now city under thick dusty clouds round the clock. The residents have neither  remorse nor do they are endowed with any resources to do it away with, the coolie at the Kalimati (Tatanagar ) railway station insisted to charge Rs. hundred from my spouse catching a train for Jhansi .He was unprepared to accept less or more for luggage not weighing more than 12 to 15 kg. Knowing that the aged and ailing couples can never step in to cross the over bridge and rush to occupy their berths. What law and which amount of negotiation will prove to be effective, Hazare and Kejriwal the new Messiah & his Aam Admi were not there. She yielded. Next it was my turn asking a coolie to drop and board me in Howrah Express for Kharagpur shifting from plate form number 2 to plate form no.5.by stepping up over bridge. Rs.hundred no less than that, was his demand. I yielded. Every where it is notified in bold letters the freight rate of coolies. Now you may want me to move from place to place for the redressal of our genuine grievance. Here they are taking the advantage of age and sickness. Are these poors moral?

I boarded an special train (Shalimar -Hyderabad Deccan ).It was but natural for Indian Railways not to provide Pantry Car in a temporary train . The passengers depended for tea, snacks and meal for hawkers authorized and unauthorized but un licensed. In West Bengal and Odissa , the trains are infected with them and they make good business. It is good poverty elimination as they work hard and are good substitutes. On one station, the licensed hawker sold Mineral water for Rs.twenty. Many gladly purchased but I challenged the rate, he came down to fifteen, some passenger in line benefitted. Rs.five means profit of thirty three %. No fast court can be setup for such crimes. On another occasion the hawker demanded Rs five in place of Rs.4.50 printed on the front page of The TELEGRAPH DAILY. Fifty paisa coin was out of use/press. Was not media aware of this?

Many passengers minimized their daily consumption but some refuse to budge against the abnormal situation and were frantically searching mid day meal on Vijaiwada Jn. Here employee of P.K.Sharif (CELL KITCHEN)the licensee sold sealed Idly and half baked dosa (170 Gram)MRP 25.00 half thick and half thin all stale kept me on hunger. The chatny  was only ten gram : water ,chilly and salt mixed. What honesty by a Muslim Brother! The agony did not end there. In the process of reception of youngest daughter coming from Ranchi in the night of 26th of October, driver was requested to buy and bring coffee for both of us. He was charged  Rs. 16.00 in place of Rs.14.00.He also brought four toffees each costing Rs.one .The owner, a Muslim handsome bearded young man  was asked to pay money instead of toffee. He had to oblige me. In the same vein I noticed short supply of 150 ML coffee; he was scolded to give up  to the prescribed marked  limit. He was quick to oblige. The guilty once reminded his guilt will always yield. The last stroke to him came when after consuming coffee I walked to him to ask for suggestion book. He was terrified and returned the extra Rs.two and sought forgiveness, He had already realized from hundreds of passengers extra Rs.one from each one of them. What tampered India do you have! You have pampered them and their greed has tampered them to remain poor for years together. The corruption is in our vein and bone. There is no panacea available now. Kejriwal like men will be washed away in this Ganges. Delhi and top enlightened   class people are their targets .Come to the villages and towns to witness the current picture of corrupt practices in various shape and forms.
